Maybe they closed it again? If you go back in this thread they showed it open again after the logging was done. Check with Lucky7 on this site.

was out today up Coal Creek. Found lots of sun and wind affected area's but found nice snow in the tree's. The main area's are tracked up lots but if you look and know where to go you should be able to find untouched. A big storm or two would be nice

We took a day trip down and yeah, all the usual spaces are bombed out and the windblown areas are skating rinks.
Heard there's snow on the way?

Snowing here all day now. Couple inches on the ground in town. Might be a beauty day tomorrow.

Wanting to ride in fernie tomorrow (Monday) but all my riding buds are busy. Anybody care to have an extra ‘doo guy join their crew for the day?

What are the snow conditions like up in the alpine. A group of us are heading out tomorrow. Was wondering if we should wait for a reload.

Rode wednesday and Thursday. Some areas were wind blown but we found lots of untouched areas with about a foot or so of pow.

Found some decent snow south of the Notch in the wind protected areas but the open areas were getting blasted by the wind.

One of our group got tossed into a wet creek bed and then his sled lawn-darted into his chest. Good thing there was 3 of us to get him out. Gave him some Percocet and then it was a bit of work to get him out as he couldn’t ride certain areas. He had to walk some sections and we had to go back to ride his sled through those sections.

Keep an eye out for your riding buddies.

Third weekend in a row I came out for a day. Getting to be a lot of driving this season.
Cowboy Trail from Nanton to Crowsnest was real sketchy. Some of the worst white out conditions I've driven. Luckily, and oddly, minimal wind.

Found some good snow, windblown areas of course are still like pavement but we managed to find some good stuff. Adventured a bit into spots I hadn't been. All in all a good day.

was out today. as hard as ever. Had crappy wind ALL DAY even in the staging area. WE did find snow but had to look real hard for it. We probed 215 cms. At times due to the hard surfaces and the wind I thought its is worth it?

Snowed a bit the other day.
Anyone get out today? Still good or smashed up from all the Sunday traffic.

Still lots of areas that aren’t touched. We rode today. Bumper deep in the trees. The trail absolutely sucks. The trail is good until the cat powder skiing turn off on the Morrissey trail. What was happening this past weekend with all the sled traffic.

We rode yesterday and we found lots of good stuff in the trees. Was absolutely throwing it down when we left at 5. Trail was beat good by end of day. The lot was packed yesterday by 830 am. Just saw on fb all the groomer drivers have been unavailable and this is “bonus time grooms”?
