Boost tubes

I see a lot of advertising for aftermarket boost tubes for the factory turbos, all claiming to solve the problem of boost tubes cracking. Only problem is, I don’t see many complaints of this actually going on. Question is, aftermarket is certainly better, but if you are leaving boost levels stock, is this something that needs to actually be addressed? Any real life experience of damaged tubes?

I have not heard of it happening to anyone around here. With brp all sensitive about their warranty, I don’t know why you would risk it.

Maptun and RPM make good boost tubes if someone is interested in more PSI.
