Pretty simple tonight............Costco strip loin (1” thick seared to 135 degrees), beet greens with vinegar and sugar, along with a Caesar salad with homemade dressing.

Costco has good meat! Thing that amazed me was how much cheaper it is to buy a whole striploin and cut it up yourself, compared to buying a package of steaks, IIRC it was like 25% cheaper.

The Canadian distribution warehouse for pit boss, Louisiana, and a few others is in Edmonton.

It might not be the same deal I got but they will sell to the public. There is a show room to see them and have every thing in stock but they no real sales attendants. If you get the right guy you can get a hood deal.

Stopped in there today T, awesome place lots of stuff too. Had to get a few tools for the griddle. They have everything though and set up. Still got my griddle cheaper by 140$, but had a good chat with a fella that has 1 and purchased a few items. Definitely going to be my go to place from now on though, nice/ quiet and a boat load of products very nice. Thanks T, 👍

Bother has spiders he says he pay like 10cents a cricket. 20oz Cricket steak might be more than the Porterhouses he figures.
