Ribeye with pan fried onions with a hint of diced garlic in there.

Lobster tails tonight. But,,,, not on the bbq☹

Bbq is fun but, they turn out better this way.

I boil them quickly from frozen, cut them in half ad spice and butter and finish in the oven at 450. So good.

And they kinda look like bugs and thats good for the ozone layer.

Do you actually find they work? I bought a smoke tube too, never noticed it did much to the meat for smoke flavor. Bought a portable country smoker from UFA for $300 and not going back.
I have 3 different kinds of smokers right now but I do use the tube to cold smoke cheese, butter and salt.

They won't replace a good smoker if you do your steaks hot and fast in a couple minutes, you won't get any flavor.

Smoke some butter in the fall, put that on your steak, potatoes, seafood or even popcorn. A-maze-ing

Went to buy a couple of fresh tank lobster for camping trip. Delivery didn’t arrive. There were frozen lobster tails in the freezer. I remembered Dan’s post above. Bought a mess of them and gotter done. Boiled them for a couple minutes, let them cool, and put them on the mesquite coals to finish. Delicious!!

...it isn't blood and if it runs everywhere, you didn't let your meat rest long enough.

My daughter is a chief and works or worked at high end restaurants here in Edmonton. She’s always telling us to let it rest. We now let everything rest.

It is not overly big but it is the best dam outdoor cooking setup I've ever had.
Smoking my last two walleye tonight with lemon pepper spices.
Going to get some more walleye Sunday.
Either use my Long Lake tags or hit up Calling Lake.
