Always said I would never build another mod after my last one but here I am. I was going to do a 9r turbo mod this summer but heck the new polaris stuff is not that great. The Axys 800 has a pretty dang good track record and I had one in the seacan I could not sell. (174 in Saskatoon). So I built it into my new chute climber.

Build list is pretty long but a lot of the stuff from my old mod sled transferred over.
-Trencher 36 arms
-2018 spindles
-rpm billet wheel turbo
-tunnel dump
-fire and ice intake and a removable snorkel
- nice and clean gauges
- custom clutching (Close to TRS)
-custom huge air box
-ssi turbo head
- bd aux fuel injector holders welded to my custom box
-torque stop
- redline fueling
-doo oil cap
-bomber rails
-camo 174 x3
- races edge rear arm
- custom tunnel braces attached to the rear mount
-155 tunnel chop
- custom s.s tunnel dump support
-avid 7 tooth drivers
- turbo smart bov plumbed into the air box to blow snow off
- 25% geared up
-8 psi pulling 77.5 daltons
- +4 psi left

I have not had it out in the hills yet but did some pretty extensive testing at 2000ft in 3ft of snow. It was able to pull 8350rpm outa the hole and it settle down to 8250-8300. It’s doing about 78 mph track speed and gets there extremely quick. When I get out to the hills next week I’ll likely turn the boost up to compensate for the power loss at elevation.

Nice build. My machine is very similar. Cant see spending 28G on the new ones. My old 800 turbo will easily keep up or surpass. Only 16G into it.

Here’s the old girl. There was no machine that would touch it, Even had a couple doo guys bow down to it last year . I parted it out for pretty good money. I spend about $2500 on getting the new build from stock to beast mod.

Was that a redline turbo kit?

It started life out as a boost it Ho turbo. Over the years I got rid of the intercooler, xic, the garret turbo and the oil tank. I did get the rpm and the g2 box from redline about 6 years ago. On this build I built and designed all of the piping, air box, air intake, exhaust.

Good job! I do a very similar build on my 2012 pro Rmk. Boost it Ho set up, then switched it over to a complete red line kit. But it suffered from the usual 2012 electrical gremlins. I went through it totally and got it running correctly then sold it for the 2018 I have now.

Nice the old girl got 2014 electrical a few years after I built it. I have a pump gas bd 174 that hangs with the new turbo doos but it’s pretty lame compared to a av gas mod sled. I sure hope this axys mod runs as good and consistent as my old mod.

The 18 Axys has the 174 3” doo track, extrovert drivers, anti stab, APS clutching in the primary and in the team secondary. Etc. Only running 5lbs. On pump gas. Have yet to try it at 7 with av or race fuel mix. 12 pro was 7 lbs on race / premium mix.
