want to put this out there just in case someone else experiences this same issue.
had a guy bring me this quad with no spark. while cranking it had no spark but as soon as you let go of the start button it would spark a couple times.
changed the stator and pulser coil and still no spark. did a little more internet research and found a group that was having the same issues.
i never would have guessed it but they said finally after changing everything it turned out to be the voltage reg.
sure enough switched it out from another machine and we have spark. i have no idea how they are linked but that was the problem.
hopefully this will help someone else out in the future.
