It's been a steady down pour since yesterday morning here on the island,can't recall it raining like this around here ever, when I lived in Tofino yes but not here, work just got cancelled so an extra day off,they are calling for 100 ml before noon ,that's in about 5 hours, going to be some flooding I would imagine

One of my guys that live up by the hope slide said it snowed 2 days ago up top and yesterday the snow was flowing down the road. Not sure what that looks but after seeing news footage I can understand

yes they are all atmospheric rivers now , I guess Pineapple Express has gone the way of the dinosaur but never fear I’m sure they have their thesaurus out looking for new words .

Well it finally stopped raining here but there's flooding all over the place,I would call it a atmospheric river just for how long and hard it rained here, pineapple Express is usually hard rain for short periods.no denying things are changing in weather here.

Vancouver is now cut off from the rest of Canada by road. We will soon see grocery shortages from east and west Wife was just at the grocery store , no produce in the coolers . That took all of two days.
