Young guns up Renshaw, they had a good day, but When you don’t bring your tools to change a belt and hook you avy pac on the bumper!!!! LOL!

Hey all, heading to McBride March 31st with the whole family for our annual trip. Wondering how trails are and such, also did they do a toboggan track on Lucile again this year?
Thinking of taking the family to Lucile one day a maybe the renshaw on the sunday.
do they groom Renshaw Saturday night still ?

Talked to Hotrod today and grooming is still going strong! It will go to probably mid April but usually depends on Renshaw trail. Area needs a reload, been Blue skys for a while but still some pockets to be found. A couple posts back I mentioned grooming the trails and that’s the usual timeline.

Great day but the alpha sleeps on the hill couldn’t figure out what happened
I drove off a ledge and the handle bars moved when I adjusted them back it shut off

Kitty ran out of lives.
Great day of riding untracked snow.
Dropped down Holmes to the cutblocks and then went to some Super Secret Spots.
Trail held up to and from staging exceptionally well for the weather.
Renshaw delivered the goods once again.

Ran out of time and snow on Sunday.
SD gets a little toigher to access on low snow years.
Panzerdog has been getting a pretty good tour this year of some of the Renshaw and where to go when it's "tracked out".
Its been a fun year and even found a new spot but its a two spare fuel can distance from the cabin kind of a day.
Always ready to go early and understands that some days 6:00AM at the restaurant is just not early enough.

Looks like some coming over weekend for a Monday and Tuesday ride.

We'll be in there this weekend, was hoping for bluebird and put some exploring miles on. Might be a pow weekend...

Just sunshine this week for us.

Mostly sunny in Renshaw today.
6-8" of fresh and only about 50 riders.
Main parking a bit muddy but not bad and no bare spots on trail.
Icy first 4 km but trail in and out was awesome.

Any word on how the trails are holding up. Are they still grooming. Big crew of us heading out tomorrow. A big variety of ppl bikes sleds kids ladies. Thx

Talked to Hotrod yesterday, trails are still being groomed, Renshaw very icy for first 6-7km. Small amount of dirt showing from parking lot till collection shack. Been cool at night so trails holding up! Not sure about new snow, a few inches a day or so ago! Riding buddies up there will find out more later.
