The Doo is also climbing the steeper part of the hill, the hill is slopped down towards the Poo. they should have switched sides, then it would have been a closer race. but all in all doo did good for less boost.

The pro is a 2013 running a MTNTK turbo. 174 X3 with baker skid, Kurts gear down. Quack quack. Hard to tell in the video but as the top gets steeper the pro pulls away a bit because of the baker skid, not because the hill isn’t even. Paul’s turbski is out of break in mode, has done some suspension work and clutching. There was a 165 turbski playing on the same hill and having to turn out 3/4 of the way up. Really like Paul’s setup, might have to join the dark side next year....

Wow, that much difference between the 175 and the 165 ? I guess it`s one of those things where you have to be there to see it. is Paul starting to like his Doo? he did not at the beginning. Curtis did you try that hill? and how far did you make it? remember the Ski Doo turbo is a game changer. lol.

Looking like a wash from. My view, not really any of the two having a advantage.. what was done to the stock doo skid, it was it altered.. don’t see it farting around or skis 3 feet in the air

Impressive to see it keep up to 7 lbs thou on the Poo.. good vid

So the 800 ProRide may have a well tuned turbo and clutching, or maybe not. It would be nice to see a stock 850 AXYS 174 running that hill to compare. The Doo is definitely running well though.

I say he is really liking it now with the changes he has made. The 165 can’t keep the front end down and just wheelies over. A lot of guys like that. We set up our sleds to climb, just depends on your riding style.

Yes it’s definitely not the poser sled vid you would suspect with skis 3 feet high.. nice to see what it’s designed for.. what mods done to skid

So is the pro really making 7lbs if the doo is only compensating??? The compensating turbo the doo uses seems to work pretty good when comparing to a aftermarket kit.

Sorry I couldn’t resist, excellent vid. Thanks for sharing.

It’s been discussed a lot on here, the doo turbo really shines when it senses load. When the skis aren’t sky high it loads the engine more I think.

I’d like to see them have to get on and off the throttle dangling back and forth a bit. Which revs quicker and gets the front end up and on top of the snow better to keep momentum, track speed, ect. For the type of riding I do that’s the next test Id like to see!

Same as the clutching ? Be even more evident then NA machine to load till won’t pull anymore .
Just because it’s saying said rpm doesn’t mean it won’t pull more .

Great video, Thanks. It will be interesting to see how his 850 T Doo pulls against Chrisco's 850 mountain tek turbo once he has it dialed in.
New Doo chasis and turbo vs new Polaris chasis and turbo.
Anyway thanks again for the video and a true comparison.
