Every time I start the sled the clock keeps going back to 12:00. I’ve never unhooked the battery or had it go dead. Anyone else have this happen? Is this a known issue with a fix?

Sounds like the power supply wire is connected to the wrong side of the starter relay. If you check the 12volt accessory port with a meter there should be power(12v) if there is nothing then go to the starter relay and check the secondary wires for correct location.
I take the fact it is an Estart. If it is not, there is NO battery.

Mine both do the same. I don't think the 2 stroke sleds are wired in a way that they keep the time.

Yes mine is an e-start.
I’ll have to find a wiring diagram to figure out which wire is the one I need to move if I don’t have power at the 12v accy plug. I’m assuming it should have power KOEO?

Looks like all 6000/8000 should be wired the same? The battery + on pin 3 is the same as the 9000 as well.

Correct the red and white wire is battery power to the cluster. A NON estart will not have that wire and the #3 hole is not used, it is caped out.
If you have the estart, you should have 12v at the #3 red and white wire at all times. Key does not need to be on.
