Broke near the end of the crank 1300 mile on the sled. Fixed sheave is still on the crank of course it’s one good climb away from being able to tow it out. Anyone else have this happen how did you get the fixed half off 3 jaw pulled and beat hopefully

Gross. Hopefully wasn't put on with an impact. Did you have to cut it off?

Sled spent the night on the hill. Rounding up parts to hopefully get it out of where it is only one more big climb and then I can pull it out. Initially it broke and bent the bolt. We straightened the bolt and made it up one of the climbs. The bolt came loose again and when we went to tighten it it broke. We got the broken piece of the bolt out of the crank but couldn’t find a bolt yesterday.

Yeah this sucks and I’ve been there on a 18 as well. In the end the sled was on warranty and Polaris replaced the whole engine. I have heard of guys welding on the fixed sheave to make a puller of sorts and then applying a little heat to the clutch so it pops.
