2017 Axys Diagnostic mode

What is the trick to get the display to read engine codes. Buddy finally had to take to someone with a reader to find out it was the exhaust probe failing and causing the code/power cut. He tried a few you tube videos but it wont display any codes. Maybe the exhaust probe wont display?

He tried the pull brake and hold the button but nothing comes up.

Thoughts?

I have the same issue on my 19, had a code come up on the display P1555 but when I went to the diagnostic screen it didn't show any codes. I have it in at CWW right now and I'm going to see what they say when I pick it up.
