2004 yamaha kodiak 450 cant go above 20 kph

hi all new to snow and mud
i got my carb rebuilt starts good idles good but have top speed of 20 kph does any one have an idea why? thanks

In neutral will it rev out?

while i was adjusting it the reverse light would start blinking then i would turn it off. it would do it in neutral as well.

the reverse light would blink i think that means its reving out ?

The blinking reverse light is too high of an idle. Topping out at 20km could mean you need your clutches serviced.

With too high of an idle,the machine will not usually not let it shift into gear or it will engage the ignition limiter. Lower the idle speed (turn choke off or fix cables/adjust)

Sounds like they put the jets in wrong spot....Main jet (140 ish) and Slow jet (30-40 ish)
not enough fuel after 1/4 throttle

Does the motor rev high and only go about 20 or does the motor not rev at all.
