2003 Summit 800 Tunnel Compatability; 151"

So... A friend hit a big rock on the weekend and put a nasty crease on both sides of his tunnel. He found a used one but it is off of a 2000 or 2001 Summit 800. I know in 2003 the running boards changed a bit but what about anything else? Would it work for his 2003?

The 2003 had a lot wider boards and then a slight taper at the rear of tunnel and i believe they were stronger than the earlier ones which got narrower all the way to the rear. Its been a long time since i had my ZX chassis so i might be wrong.
