2 1/2" Track swap on 05 Rev?

Just bought a 05 Rev Adrenaline and currently it has a 151 2" track on it and i did some measuring underneath and it looks like a 2 1/2" track would fit however i have heard of guys changing the drivers on the drive shaft. Just wondering if a 2 1/2" will fit or should i just put on a 2 1/4". Thanks for any thoughts!

i would go with a 7tooth 3"pitch if your switching to 2.5

I've looked at mine and plan to do the same. Other than a drop and roll there is really no other way around it than to go with a 7 tooth 3.00" pitch driver to make it fit nice.

Do they make a 151 x 2.5. When i called Camoplast in Calgary he told me 156 x 2.5. I also would like to do this mod. Buy your drivers direct from Avid, they seem to be the cheapest. Post pics of the upgrade.

Robbie with avid is top notch to deal with... tell him your current setup and what you want. he will hook a brother up.

I just assumed that i would be able to buy a 151" by 2 1/2" but from what you guys say maybe they don't make such a thing. What about a 154" by 2 1/2" track that lots of guys run on their XP's, would i be able to run that with this 7 tooth 3.00" pitch drivers if i have enough track ajustment at the back to tighten it up??
