Guy that put the deposit on his said that if you arent there with a deposit within 24-48 hours of a boat being posted...it is gone...and this was last week. Buddy drove from Medicine Hat to Calgary just to be the first to look at it and put a deposit down right away.

Damn!

I've got to get my boat out and cleaned to sell right away then!

On my new (to me) Formula I contacted the guy within 4 hours of posting his ad (it was in the facebook BC boats group, had it been kijiji It would have been gone in the first 30 mins) I spoke with him, offered a deposit and since it was in GP I said I'd like to come up Sunday but would go that night if I had too. He was cool with no deposit and a Sunday viewing. He had to edit the ad to pending that evening and sold the next day just to keep his phone from blowing up. I super glad he was a man of his word - he wasn't COVID priced it was a great deal.

There are decent deals out there to be had, few and far between mind you, but you need to be ready to jump cash in hand. If I'd have had to wait on bank financing & crap I never would have got my boat.

Living in Sparwood I see many loads of slightly used trucks and cars on their way to the states. That must be effecting inventories and helping in driving the prices up.

That's been going on for years. Averages 10 loads a day, 7 days a week going by my place.

My daughters boyfriend put his 07-crf250 up Saturday morning for $3500 (which I thought was a bit high, but you can always come down) It was spoken for in 5 minutes and payed for and picked up within 2 hours. He had 5 guys on it within the first 1/2 hr..... Crazy.

Way too cheap yeah. 250 four strokes, especially Hondas are extra hot right now.

Call BS right there. Had my 08 CRF450 for sale for 2 weeks, not one call. This bike has less than 50 hours.

450s at least round here are everywhere for sale. Same condition/year 250 is more desirable. What were you asking for the bike?
I've been looking for a 250 for 2 months now

Been looking for a cheaper dual sport and things are just nuts. People are asking 25 percent or more over book value and getting it!

Bow you have to try and replace it though, that is the chitty part, unless going a different route.

True that. Still have a pontoon at the cabin. I’m Freeing up cash. Toy hauler, Vette, boat, renegade 1000. 10’s of thousands in paid for **** sitting I hardly use. I wanna been spending my summer times on the road glide for the next few years. I Will wait to replace in the future if we have a future.

I think it's better to have a couple toys that you really enjoy, rather than a bunch of toys sitting in a shop that you never get to use!
