InReach - Spot - Garmin 700i What's everyone's thoughts

i upgraded to a Inreach mini from a Spot. Went inreach as the monthly plans are cheaper, and can still send texts with it if your phone is dead or didnt bring one

Santa put an inReach Messenger in my stocking this year. My original first gen DeLorme inReach is no longer supported, found this out last summer on a bike trip to Alaska. It would still connect and send/receive text messages but no more shared maps etc.
