Anyone have any issues sending messages from their inreach?

Its say the messages are being sent but the person isn't receiving them, however it is recieving messages from people.

Any ideas?

Haven’t used mine in a couple of months, but every message I’ve ever sent has been received.

I have had zero issues.

Send usually 10 messages a sxs ride.

There was a e mail from inreach about location issues going to i phone

But I believe it’s fixed

I've never had a issue before either and I use the crap out of mine. Maybe a glitch?

They were doing an update and we had a couple issues at work too but it's fixed now. Try again and see if yours is working.

Garmin was held captive with ransom ware. All devices being effected. Check the news on any network. They say things are working again. Not sure if they paid the 10 million though. Watches, flight navigation, inreach all down.

That’s scary to if you think about it! People depend on those to help save there lives if needed. Then have it fail when you need it the most.

The sos worked for the person we went out for (luckily was a false alarm). When I tried to communicate with mine while we were out it wouldn't work. Was saying the messages were sent but they weren't. Had no issues receiving incoming messages

That's exactly what its was doing, seems to be working great now.

Secondly, people shouldn't DEPEND on things like inreach or spot or cellphones. Yes all great tools when working properly but definitely should never be dependent upon. Better to take course or classes like first aid and outdoor survival, avalanche training etc. All better than a piece of technology in my opinion. Just my pennies worth.
