Just wanted to say thanks to Vince and the crew at Cycleworks Calgary. I am having a track replaced under warranty on my 21 Khaos and hear that tracks are usually not something manufacturers will warranty. The track didn't fail but the fibreglass rods did get exposed in a couple spots where the wheels contact. It looks like maybe the rubber was just a bit thin there. I have since installed Powderfreaks drivers so there will be less contact in that area now.

I have always had great service from them. I wouldn't say they are hardcore sledders but this is my 7th sled from them and every time I have had any issues they have taken care of me. Stuff that makes me nervous and they have got warrantied. 2 tracks, 2 clutches, 1 motor, heated grips, etc. Some of these things could have been considered wear items so I am very fortunate. Just last season I asked them to pop my clutch off while it was in their shop, so I could service it. It was on my 19 sled with a 2500 kms on it. They asked why I thought it needed service. I told them I felt a little vibration. A day or 2 later they called back to tell me I had a brand new clutch coming via warranty. Everybody talks about bad service but not often about good service.

Thats a good thing other than the storage deal. Why start the repair warranty now when you cant ride it. Better to wait till fall and get a winter out of it.

I heard that they are struggling with too much bike, ATV and side-by-side business right now due to the Covid buying spree. They don't have room for any winter vehicles right now. They likely handled it wrong when your buddy dropped it by without any notice. What most of these dealers suffer from is poor communications, one guy says one thing while another says something else and the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Gone are the days when you dealt with the same guy every time at a small family business. For myself I have dealt with them long enough that I know what to expect and somewhat have learned how to approach them.

April drop off... he picked it up the other day and headed to southern BC for the warranty work. It'll be done this week. Funny they didn't have the same scheduling struggles....

Probably cost them a turbo RZR sale....

but that 2020 850 motor did last 4000 hard km so that's a plus!

Yup and it is okay to give some of those smaller dealers some work. It would be nice to have a couple dealers for each brand in the big cities.
