I noticed that Full Speed kept an large amount of sled parts for Doo, Polaris, Cat and i believe even some snow bike parts. Were they also able to do warrantee on other brands?

I'm hearing BRP made a few demands to Full Speed in Revelstoke and when they were rejected BRP pulled the warranty repair certification from Full Speed. This angers me as I always enjoyed being able to get my sled warranty work completed right in town. Lots of BRP riders will be losing out because of this. Shame on you BRP. Just one more reason not to trust people and companies from the East.
And this is the reason I switched to cat, dealer service in the shwap

Banner sucks, I would not take my lawn mower there

Banner did have deal with full speed, but it's the shop and guys inside

Golden is good ( but isn't what it used to be when randy and jord owned it) and now banner has there grubby hands in it, implementing there policies and b.s

Stew with Courtney is great, good service but have to wait for him to pick up, fix, deliver back ( has loaners mind you), and was torn between buying a doo from him or a cat from shuswap extreme in salmon arm

But ultimately, brps fawking b. S ect, made me bend to cat, and I couldn't be happier with it

As far as I'm concerned, brp can take a wide lick up my hairy azz, closing down all the good mom and pop shops, that is what made them better, from the service

Now it's all numbers and crap services

I live in Sicamous, and currently have doo's and will travel five hrs one way and seven hrs other way for service. lol Not likely. Fortunately haven't ever needed a warranty repair. Unfortunately I keep them too long and when they blow up I have to pay but don't use a dealer other than to buy parts. Last engine Stu delivered to town so that was handy.

Full Speed was handy for all the plastic I bust on a regular basis cause they had six of everything hanging on the wall.

Funny cause as soon as BRP offers out a "5hp increase on their turbo", all you whiners will be lined up to snowcheck again.....and again.....and again.

Increase? People are lined up for them as they are right now. They make the best product on the snow, if you want to ride the best I guess your options are more limited now in the Shuswap revy area. The service would have to be pretty damn awful to switch to a 12 year old 800cc sled.

Maybe I’ll have to buy that fancy building in sicamous and open up maxwell motorsports lmao. Retire myself into the ground. Maybe I’ll be a tiaga dealership.

My friend likes cats and the fellow in Salmon Arm has been awesome for him. Doesn't matter he didn't buy it there, they give him great service.

Something you don't get from doo dealer in Vernon if you didn't purchase there. Why else would they ask where you bought it when you ask about service?

Product is top notch. Best in the industry in "my" opinion. Have good friends in the industry in engineering, service, PAC and marketing. Been a revamp of sales teams and what I'm seeing is some ruthlessness from the top down. Over the course of 40 years with a company you see the good and the bad. Now I see lots of decisions being made in a boardroom somewhere down east making heartless decisions all based on "what have you done for me lately?" Look at Marvin at Echo. 42 years and no longer relevant on a map. No Basecamp fan but what they did to Mitch in Sicamous was almost criminal. A lot of behind the scenes skullduggery in any business model that large. Doesn't matter what brand really. When things are going good you are Sparky Motorsports from Benson, Manitoba and when you sway offline even once you are Dealer 1234. Glad we sold before all this crap hit the fan.

As a doo owner from 1990 on and never swayed from them, I seen lots of aggressiveness in pushing the sport over all, they listened more to there bigger sales group than mountain guys till last generation..

There dealer network is a joke, one of there biggest weaknesses.. remember trying to get a dealership In the hat back in 2000, a town of 65k people and they would not allow, because of the brooks dealer 100km away crying the blues .. Revy should have a dealer

There warranty has been another joke, months to get parts, and there excuses not to cover it..or have no warranty at all and take 5k off price

Last negative is there mountain devision not have a 24hr r&d shop, with full rental and full parts in Revy.. should be a big chalet up beside glacier inn with full museum of sleds they offered over the years.. what they have now is a nothing, easy seen it’s Quebec in charge

Hate to break it to ya Fred but Revelstoke is a Pimple on the ass of snowmobiling, its microscopic compared to other areas trail/mountian down south and east. Cant see your dream 24/hr shop coming anytime soon. LOL. I hear farmers have lots of money, maybe you can built it! A business has to make sense a snowmobiling only business only runs half of the year. Tough go.

on a side note, what parts took months? ive ordered everything from engines to nuts and bolts and its always been same week if ordered by tuesday? maybe thats your dealers issue?

Revy is Canada’s biggest sled area hands down, the same country of brp..

Had a motor in 18 take 5 weeks to get in, had a secondary that never heard back in 4 weeks and 5 calls.. last month

Ya could be dealer, trying a new one this year

Agreed and that's why we just deal with it and do a road trip to dealership that is fair for warranty work. I have purchased from Mr R's, Bowridge and had work done at those places and it was a pleasant experience.

Did try to purchase and have service work done at two doo dealerships locally and it was painful. Was unable to buy at those places.

Fullspeed was pleasant to deal with and i bet they will still service doos.

I'm sure they will Bert. They service their rental fleet so it only makes sense that they will continue to service people in need sledding in the area. Banner can continue to provide parts. Warranty work will probably end as BRP will watch for warranty fraud. They have been known to secret shop places where complaints are made so I'm thinking any warranty work would be sent to Golden or Vernon to be legit. Its a farce they can't supply some kind of service to the thousands of customers that ride those 2 areas every winter.

I emailed BRP to show my displeasure of this decision and reasons why. If everyone here did... well probably nothing would change but better than doing nothing. For what’s it’s worth, I got a personal reply within 24 hours.

What did the customer representative say or did she just say she would pass it on to her superiors? I'd be interested in hearing what the reasoning is behind the decision on Full Speed? Anybody know from the horses mouth?
