Lightweight/Youth Avy Pack

Looking like next year will be my coming 12 year old daughter’s first trip to the mountains. Obviously her age and experience level will not put us in any “high risk” avalanche terrain but I’d like to get her used to wearing a backpack so it might as well an be avy pack. What do you guys recommend to be the lightest yet effective one out there?

i like the snowpulse products and the PAS especially. the Spire or ridge might be small enough? the Spire looks to hold the bag up high. I have short friends and ladies that complain their bags bottom hits them on top of the tail bone or butt if its too low.

what Trigger is on the BCA? does the bottle need CO2 or compressed air?

I have seen some bags with 2 "wings" only open one... and one open inside the bag and was crushing my buried friend... May have been ABS...
