I went out about 10 days ago and conditions were great but wondering what others are finding?

I planned on Revy this weekend. Buddies are scared due to communism so we may not go. Revy will be good for sure

Probably be riding in June still, but in Whistler....

My usual riding buddies sold their sleds or are too busy. Trying to find someone/a group to tag along with is not very successful. Covid seems to have affected people and their willingness to take people along outside of their usual circle.

Rode two weekends ago. Found myself a sunburn in mcbride. Hoping the current weather system drops some fresh powder some where yet, will do a Last minute trip. If not will probably hit up the next hot weekend for some spring riding in valemount.

I was up a couple of days ago up Rutherford. Trail needs to melt out so you can drive higher to avoid gravel patches but will be out a couple of times in May maybe even June.

Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Still sledding but the snow bridges are a little sketch atm. Bahahahaha, we didn’t want to die drowning so we called the heli. It was later in the day so the heli came the next day. We installed slings around the track and then to a 150ft line so the heli crew didn’t have to risk their life. My friend sent a vid vid, pics and gps coordinates to the heli guys. They really appreciated the pre-work we did and they said nobody has ever prepared a sled like we did. They say peeps just call with sketch details and a general area. It makes it hard for them. The creek/river was ripping and it would be certain death if anyone got washed down under the snow. The pool was deeeep! Notice the blue linq brackets on bottom are broken. The gas can and Pelican got ripped right off and were floating round and round in the whirl pool of treachery!
Don’t let the pics scare you out of late season sledding tho. We both have 25 years of riding experience and chit happens! It’s all good!

An interesting wind down KD. Challenges and getting out of a pickle are what make the men!! I'm betting there are a lot more exciting and WTF pictures somewhere.

I'm done for the season. I am already working to get some jingle in my pocket for next year. Supposed to have a couple eBikes ready the first week of May and we are excited. Got last years record of 54 riding days to beat this year. Going to be another great summer out and about in the Shuswap!!

Ha! I wish. Was first to turbo this year as far as I know, I suppose might be close to last tracks back to turbo? Although won’t be making it back in June this year. Will try for next year.
