Met up with Kanedog today, and he took me on quite the tour. Way more than I was expecting him to show me. We covered a lot of ground today. Could be my new favorite spot.

Pretty much a jumpers paradise. Climbers Paradise too, some big pulls in there for sure, was a lil nervous the XP might **** the bed, but it made it through the day, and ran pretty much the best its ran since I got it.

Big thanks to Kanedog, you da man. Just a couple of dogs in park.

Cheers

First pull of the day, and a lot more of the same after. 146xp was working.

Its a memorial for a guy who pioneered the zone. Used to land his plane on the glacier, and that was his snow machine.

I probably fuct the story up, but you get the idea haha

Its used as an emergency shelter now, did you try it out? I have once, pretty tight but if in a bind it works and easy to access, though in a blizzard would be tough to find without a GPS waypoint.
On the one side of the culvert(door side) that area is big enough to land a 747 LOL.

I was looking forward to coming out this season but unfortunately my old 04 Ford with the 6.0 crap the bed because of a oil filter failure. Its all fixed now but it deplenished fun funds.
Hopefully next season.

I'm glad you did it. It is a special place for sure and I am sure kanedog gave you a rewarding tour. He just seems like that kind of guy.

Bev and I went out for 3 days with Chris Brown and it was spectacular. Blew our minds away.

Like you said its a jumpers paradise, lots of snow boarders with sleds too as there are plenty of awesome lines for them.
Go there when they get a fresh dump and its insane deep. Always carry 2 spare belts and lots of extra fuel, i generally top up the fuel as the day progresses trying to minimize the weight at the tail end.
And ya insane climbs, the cool thing about these crazy climbs is they lead you into different zones of the field and this is where having some one who knows is important.

Oh yeah, there was all kinds of snow boarders back in there.

Honestly I could have had fun in the first 3 bowls hitting jumps all day. But it was great to have a guy that knows the area like Kanedog.

There was a couple spots I kinda feel bad that I wouldnt follow him, cause I was worried about my sled gerenading way back.
