I need some help with the spare sled. It runs great after it has been warmed up but when first started cold has a bad hesitation only has to run until warm up message is gone then all is good . Has had the latest program from BRP and only has 1200 km. Feels like it is lean.

i had the same sled. same issue. wouldn't really call it an issue because once it was warm all was good. but it sure didnt like to even engage before it was out of warm up mode. i would think that if we have the same sled with the same issue its likely just the way it is. make sure shes warmed up good.

My wife has a 2014 XM 600 Etec that does, or did, the same thing except it did it after the warm up message is gone (she won't ride it until it's warmed up properly). She would engage the throttle and it would bog down but after 5-10 seconds it would start running normally and would be fine the rest of the day. I changed out the plugs and fuel filter 2 weeks ago and it seems to have fixed it. One other thing, from what I can remember, this issue didn't start until after I put an HPS can on her sled, I have the exact same can on my 800 Etec and have not had any problems with bogging or hesitation.

This thing has reared it's ugly head again. A buddy of mine was riding it this weekend and he got stuck pretty bad to where the back end was damn near touching the ground and the front was sitting on the snow surface, he could get the machine to start but it wouldn't rev above 3500 rpm's (fuel light came on too). When we got it dug out to where it was sitting almost level it would run fine but the sled had at least a half a tank of fuel in it as evidenced by the 4 bars on the fuel gauge. Before I pull this thing apart to get a better look at it is there anything I can check before I pull it? Fuel filter is brand new and gas was fresh and plenty of oil in the tank.
