Throttle sensitivity adjustment

Hear me out... Can the throttle be adjusted in BUDDS2 to be less aggressive on the lower %?

I tried to trail ride the 850 with the kid in front of me hitting his visor on the riser as I cant accurately modulate 1-5% of the throttle very easily... The damn thing just makes too much power and is too sensitive lol

Can a guy get a "green learning key" like the ACE?

My wife is **** scared of the 850 freeride as she's used to old carb sleds and grabs a full mitt and sends the skis waaaaay up

Just askin... before I buy a 400 or 600 for her to "learn" on....

They are very aggressive, kinda like an on/off switch. I think you would be best to work on clutching it softer with lower clutch engagement. A soft starting spring pressure is what I would look for so you can get belt clamp starting at closer to 3000 rpm rather that closer to 4000.

you'd think they would be able to do something like my maverick with the learner key but i havent heard anyone doing that. id click it down to 1 for now

Id like to get her more comfortable on it without changing a bunch of stuff... clicker down sounds like a start for sure. I guess ultra lazy clutching might save me buying her a different machine after.

Anyone rent a 600 Summit anywhere? I have looked but no luck..... anyone own a G4 600?

Add a pile of weight to the pivot and click it to 1.

Try a Dalton Primary spring with a lower engagement. Dynamo Joe clutch kits I believe come with this spring as well. it will lower your engagement and make it more manageable.

Pfft, Throttle sensitivity on the Doo is no where near as big a factor as the owner sensitivity ! Sorta seems like you gotta take a course on how to act and talk like a teenage girl who just had her first orgasm ! Doo laid is a bad drug man , it can really phukk you up !

Beat it geek, this is a thread about a sled or adjustments to make my wife more comfortable... and some of these guys have met me and my wife in real non-snowandmud life... Annnd I love to make fun of Polaris junk and will continue to for quite some time.. sure don't need your permission..

When my kid was little i taped a block of wood to the bar so it would only do half ish throttle. Easy to do and u can just take it off for different riders. It worked for my little guy and it didn't take long and he wanted it off.

Shorten the limiter to keep the front end down. I did this on my wife’s sled and it made her feel more in control. You can always let it out when she feels more comfortable. Good luck

I think the dealer can adjust the raves so they stay closed longer. You might want to check that out

Buy her a 900 ace. I bought the wife a 900ace renegade. She loves the throttle. She can either push the throttle with her thumb or turn it and use it like a sea doo. The throttle lever is super easy.
