ive had lots of sucess with CVtech and a couple of fails. Both requiring a second engine rebuild. First one i changed the cylinder out on a machine and chased a coolant disappearing issue for months. Turned out to be a pinhole leak in the coolant jacket that was allowing the coolant to seep into the exhaust system. No harm to the engine done just burning coolant out the exhaust. Had to change that cylinder out but they did full warranty including shipping. Second was an 800 etec cylinder that i ordered. They shipped an 800PTEK cylinder in an 800ETEC box. i should have double checked first but by visual inspection and dimension they are the same, however the ptek block does not have the tiny rave oiling ports. Had to change that cylinder out aswell. All good in the end and no cost to me other than 2 days of time rebuilding 2 top ends.....twice...
