Ive always had a snowflap on my sleds. I bought the detachable one on my last sled. Noticed a big difference in the pow without it on (maybe it was just in my head). Snowchecked this year a turbo with of course the shortened tunnel thats standard. The snowflap you can buy with it looks massive and I dont see where you can attach it to your tunnel at all if you dont plan to come back the way you came into a ride zone to leave it somewhere. The cooling seems much improved so I am considering just not bothering with it but again am apprehensive not having it on those spring days.

I would not be without the flap to be honest. Trails this week in Revy were froze down low and still had pretty high heat in the engine with flap and ski and rail scratchers. These guys that say you don't need a flap this time of the year are not riding the trail up to the alpine.

I wrap the straps from the flap around bumper and bottom of the flap goes forward. Use a bungee to keep it tight and not flop around. Works great

I have a 2021 short tunnel snow flap for sale if interested. I attaches to the large jerry can or as snow pro said bunjee to the bumper.

We have 3 2021’s experts and all run the snow flap. If anyone tells you they don’t need it they either never ride on frozen trails or go 80 miles an hour down the groomed trails. And if you are the lucky one that’s getting passed get ready to get hammered with ice chunks. We just leave it with our gas can. You will have to constantly watch your temps without the flap.
