In them hills.
Lets talk reliability now. 3 turbos in 3 days on the rope.

Been out with boost it kits for years and didnt have these problems.

Hows yours running Skegpro?

Definitely would want the expended warranty.
Haha well the first 69km was good, that 70th km not so much.

But injector issue, so could have happened to a n/a sled.

Definitely more ch!t to break on a turbo sled.

What's been happening to the ones your towing out?

Neil's kits were deadly simple as far as sensors go, see X amount of boost at Y RPM add Z amount of fuel. Stupid simple to tune and just flat out work. Yeah they leave a couple hp on the table because fueling isn't always perfect to the decimal place as far as AFR's go, but who cares about the last 10hp when you're already pushing well north of 200hp.

I have 7500km on mine, and unfortunately have been towed out twice, but both times due to the sh!tty Polaris oil pump, once when the inlet fitting broke and drained the oil tank into the belly pan while having lunch, the other time it just quit pumping, that time cost me a motor, it seized the bottom end up solid.

I just sold my 15 T3 174” with Neil’s low boost kit. 2980km of trouble free riding. I hope I don’t regret selling it for my new 175” turbo. Would of been a good sled for ya Dan since you are mentioning of looking for a turbo for yours. It was actually snopro’s old sled. Thing never missed a beat. Lots of money invested it. Sold it for not much more than what the turbo cost new and maybe half the rear skid.

I remember that sled. Have seen it on here before. Yeah that one would have been great.

This one has the helium hood, and post forward and few other doo dads.

Might give that aero charger kit of Olers a go.

Probably wait until later in the season though, its working good right now.
Probably best to leave it alone lol

Don’t put a turbo on that thing. Every single 800 etec with a turbo I have seen has broken a rod. One at 300km, one at 5000km and a few more in between. Only a matter of time.

As long as its closer to 5000kms i can live with that haha.

I hear you though. Ill wait until i have another back up sled before i turbo this one.

Too early in the season to bust out the 146.

Glad that was a good sled for you. It’s still my favorite sled I have ever owned I think

Maybe it’s the rider cranking up on the boost knob cause they got a snort of cocaine, and liked it.
My brothers boost it 174 went 4500km before the crank runout went wonky, he replaced the engine just for piece of mind.

We rode high alpine, deep snow at 8000+ foot today and the factory turbo made a bit more of a difference than at 5000ft tree riding.

I was keeping up, but i was beating on my sled hard lol

Still not as fast as an aftermarket turbo though.
