Anyone out there willing to share their successful clutching recipe for a sidekicked 850.
I picked up a used kit and I’ve got the zolinger weights, 47/40 helix, and I believe the factory 2018 springs(not 100% on the springs). It works ok I guess. I had the DJ kit on my last 850 and it was really nice. This new setup seems a bit off, for one it engages at about 4000rpm(kinda high) then seems to not do too much for the next 1000-1500rpm, then after that the track breaks loose and it takes off like a rocket. Is that the helix causing that? Before I buy a whole new kit I just wanted to see if I could make the parts I have work better. Or am I just wasting my time?
Thanks for the input!

Not the ideal helix for that turbo. Stock head?? Try a 43/47 or a 41/45.

I'm going to try the tomahawk weights BD come out with. They bolt onto your stock weights and maintain the clicker adjustment. See if it has any positive effects...or not.

My kit come with the ZRP tailstander weights preloaded with additional magnet for tuning. According to BD, they claim improvements by running these new style plates on the stockers. Time will tell, hopefully it's a gain.

The BD supplied helix is the 41/45?
I’ve called around to a few dealers to try and find the 43/47 but I’ll have to order it in it looks like, well for the oem doo one anyways.
