I was there today and pleasantly surprised.....decent snow coverage and plenty of riders out today...some whoops starting to develop on some trails.....
when I got to Upper Raspberry I couldn't believe my eyes.......it was glass smooth because someone pulled a drag over it(wink wink)...
Is the parking lot in acceptable condition for car and trailer at Etherington area and how are the trails after the flood in that area

Just to clarify things a bit as far as parking...is there any scope for 2wd vehicle and small trailer to stage/park and also to turn around on the road...if I understand correctly..one has to...

I would be willing to pay whatever to have groomed trails......but I think it boils down to how many folks are just using the area to access fording...or those that are strictly...

As I understand it the groomer they were using had to be towed from Kananaskis village(grooming the CC ski trails) then east to hwy 22 and all the way to and past longview to the forestry road......it takes the long way around because of the road closure on HWY 40 and it costs big money to use...
I will also say that the reception can be variable..cloudy day...deep in the trees etc
it all depends on where you are at the time..best advise again is to keep it somewhere with a clear view to the sky.....on the sled I keep it attached to the speedo bracket leave it there all day....on my...
yes....if you hit the sign in button then hit the tracking button a few seconds later it leaves a tracking line on google earth and also the spot website for your friends to view or yourself later on

Looks like the snow is coming along nicely..its getting there for sure :)
it would sure be nice if the gates could be opened in time this year for the start of the season...not sure what was going on last year...no biggie though..there's always a way
you guys are awesome to go out and take...
Lots of good trails in alberta.....ditch banging is kind of a no no you might get away with it but.....your short track wlll work fine and will turn real good on the tight trails.......you wont need a long track with deep lugs if you enjoy trails..... ITs all about covering the miles
