Yeah fair enough. Stick a probe in the ground at all? I’ve heard some guys saying 165cm+ and others saying less than 120cm. Would love to get an actual reading.

We found decent snow last week at Queest. Probed 125. But take note they’re staging from Malakwa this year. We went to the normal staging area opening day and were so confused. No signage, directions, or notes at all that the staging areas had changed for this year. Had to call the club and...

Had to cancel 2 weeks in advance. Non-refundable at this point. Don't mind the cold, but had one guy say it dumped where they were yesterday and then others saying hasn't snowed in a week. Just looking for some mind of hope haha. We'll make the best of it either way.

Has anybody ridden Fernie yet this year? What is the base like? Never been down to the Fernie area, but heard it's usually a spot to wait until January to ride. At the same time I see the Ski hill is reporting more than Revvy so maybe this is an unusual start for them.

I've seen some videos of probes deaper than that. Hoping they keep getting hammered and there'll be enough for next weekend👌🏻

Cranbrook and area conditions 22/23

Met some friends of the group that dropped down and couldn't get out, apparently it was -28 up there but they were able to dig a hole for them to cuddle up in, but yes they didn't think they were going to make it. I guess the son (14 year old) dropped in and couldn't get out.

Had a good time, but pretty poor snow this weekend. In defenite need of a reset.

How are things looking up there with all this warm weather?

We were up there yesterday with a big trailer and didn't have any problems. Trail was good and snow conditions were awesome. Snowed hard the whole day. 12 inches on the trail when we came down, and looked like it was still socked in this morning when we drove past.

How's the road up to silent this weekend? Is a guy able to pull a trailer through?

Just bought my first membership ever! Pumped for this year!

Talking to Hotrod he said they need 3ft at KM 21 to groom and fill in those creeks. Been asking around and haven't heard much, but if anyone knows what they've got up there I can pass it on to him! Heading up there tomorrow night so either way he'll get a report by the weekend.
