    2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst

Seem to be pretty much the same price as the others now that their 2025 prices are out. Though obviously you can get a screaming deal on a 2024 holdover from Skidoo or Polaris.

I think I’d just get the base gauge and buy a Trail Tech unit.

When he pulled up the picture of where they were going up ( the gulley) my first thought was “holy terrain trap, if you are in there and an avy comes down they won’t find your body until August”

Canadians hanging on to their savings

That’s how mortgages work, you are paying the interest from your fixed payment before the principal, the more you owe the more the interest is each month and the longer your amortization period the more interest you are paying vs the principal. Interest gets calculated on the balance owing each...

    2024 Arctic Cat Catalyst

You mean base price? I just went thru and specced as equivalent machines as I could for AC, Poo and Doo as close to equivalent equipment as I could and they all came out to just under 24,000. Cataract Creek Area snow conditions and trail condition thread for 2022/23

I haven't ridden it for years, but what I found was that even when it is covered there always certain south facing parts of the road that melt off quickly. So its best to try it right after a snowfall so you have a chance of finding snow on the whole road.

    CNP 22/23 Season

For some reason google sends you down south and then back north, which doesn't work as the highway north isn't open in the winter. you just go west at longview on 541 then turn south on to 940 even though he map shows it as closed.

Cataract Creek condition and concerns for the 2021/22 season

The staging areas are Etherington on the right shortly after you turn south onto 940, or Cataract Creek, also on the right just before the road closure on 940

Cataract Creek condition and concerns for the 2021/22 season

Probably best to see if you can find a bed and breakfast somewhere close by. Very limited accommodations in Longview which is the closest town. Parking lot at Etherington and Cataract Creek staging areas are both good sized, but get pretty full on weekends so try to get there early.
