fuel pump was my problem
13 xm
wasn't pulling full power while climbing
cold start first pull once warm about 5 pulls to start
had the shop test fuel pressure and it just dropped off
new fuel pump and iam riding again
well it seems like you ride just about every day.
i am jealous
i get in 1 good ride a week and i am almost am dead.
now i am quite a bit older than you.
just had this same problem
took off black rave valve cover
2 8m socket screws were loose by about 2 full turns
bog gone now
easy to check
take hood off
this post is funny
was just reading on the hunting forms
and they are waking up to the reality of this
why is it now that were just now waking up
to what they have been up to for years
with them closing grizzly hunting in bc
and working on preditors
closing down areas for sledding
watch you-tube videos on how to remove wire pins from plugins.
use compressed air in handle bars to remove handle grip.
hair spray to glue handle grip back on
do buy the new cork
i had the same issue
went through 2 heat elements
first time round did not replace the cork
after the second went after the next ride
took it apart
found a small metal fragment in the cork where it burnt through
the cork, heat element, hand grip
picked out the fragment which was quite small...
after having the other can on now.
the chrome can did seem to cook better in about 45 minutes
the last 2 rides my baby potatoes were still uncooked
had some frozen spring rolls in the new can and after about an hr they were still a little cold.
go figure because they look the same for sure
if this is the can cooker your talking about
yah i had one
cooks great
stake onion and raw potatoes in about 45 minutes to perfection
down fall
had 2 baffles one up top
one down below
caused a major bog at 6000+ ish rmp and would not rev any higher
i ended up cutting out both baffles which...
well i cooked up a deer stake about 2 in thick with potatoes and onion garlic and a halipino in about 45 minutes
potatoes could of used 10 more minutes with the thang cooker
