I found this one too, might try it out:

In your travels, have you come across a decent radio with dual-ptt like the uv-82? I find this feature indispensable for both sledding and at work. It’s especially useful when riding with a mixed group where some are on uhf and some are on vhf.
I am however, getting tired of the uv-82 build...
Mine is 3D printed and I keep it slightly loose so it can rotate on the bars, not sure if that’s possible with the munster unit. It’s more like 7 o’clock when I’m riding, and when I sit down on the trail I rotate it back to about 9 o’clock. Also while bashing thru trees it has the side benefit...
Well it can happen unexpectedly too, I'm no wheelie guy but I got mousetrapped last Friday when I hit a hard patch of snow and the sled went vertical. I was pinned by the sled and had snow in my mouth etc.
I had a friend watching from below and gave him the thumbs up as soon as I could breathe...
The UV82 and most baofengs with the 2-pin style microphone jack have an issue with the jack itself. Often after some wear and tear it will receive but not transmit with the speaker mic or with it used normally as a handheld. There’s a relatively easy fix that involves disassembly and soldering a...

Also how much did you need to coat all that?
Yep I dabble in 3d printing. Mostly functional prints and for repairing stuff. I use fusion 360 for CAD and PETG plastic for higher strength/melting point than PLA.
Here is a finger throttle that I've been running for years now. Worked so well I put one on my new sled too.
It's snowing pretty good here right now, should get a decent reset over the weekend. Monday and beyond looks like it's clearing, with cold temps. Probably going to be some of the best riding around here all season!

North facing aspects had good quality snow yesterday. Tree riding was great! Soft enough to stay on edge, hero enough to tractor around. Trail in was good too, no complaints. Of course, this wasn't owl - you need to have a few personal secret stashes on owl if you expect to ride fresh after a...
