I had the same issues with my 04 after rebuilding the bottom and top end. Went for a ride same thing changed temp senor ran ok for the next trip then the oil and temp light was on solid ran like it blew up again. Changed the cdi seemed like electrical issues just about new sensors everywhere...

I would contact a girl in calgary to get whats called a boat bra.. She custom makes them for boats it covers the front half of your boat and is wicked because it dosent take up any room pm me for more info phone numbers ect..

Ya i had one fail on my other 04 polaris crank broke under the pto connecting rod but i was able to ride it back to town.. it only had 1300 miles on it.

I have a 04 Rmk vertical edge with 4000 miles no problems it quit today got it back to the truck pulled the head off and on the pto side the piston has some small brassy material on it with out taking the jug off it has a few small scratches on it any idea im thinking bottom end???
