BLUE RIVER Conditions, Updates and Rad Stuff 2020/2021

I did some looking online and couldn’t find anything new. Even right from the government website it is the same as my gps file.

BLUE RIVER Conditions, Updates and Rad Stuff 2020/2021

We rode groundhog east a few weeks ago and we have the caribou boundary’s downloaded into our gps. It seemed like the closure signs are very poorly placed. According to the gps file and other maps, the area around east/west intersection is riding area but there are closure signs 1 km down the...

    Thoughts on the 850 174.

I rode a 2016 163x3 for 3 seasons, I really liked it. I got a 2019 850 174x3 and I like even more than the 163. The 163 and 174 are stock everything. I find the 174 easier to pull over, has more power and less prone to washing out on steep side hills. It seems to hold its edge better with the...

    850 Front Bumpers

I’ve heard rumours that only certain bumpers will fit the 850 due to the pipe or something, I’ve also been told that any front bumper that will fit a 800 AXYS will fit this 850. I’m looking to get one but I don’t like the Polaris monarch bumper. I’m leaning towards the skinz/nxtlevel with the...

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

Yup I was slightly over on my rear axle and way over in general. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

I think that is correct from what I've read, there might be some exceptions for 5th wheel hitches but I haven't looked into that. As for the braking comment I made, you guys are right, it's probably no different than a 1 ton. It still had lots of braking power, just noticeably less than not...

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

Right, the air bags handled the weight great. But I could see when you wanted to stop in a hurry it would be a issue. It's a lot of extra weight with no extra brakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

The gross axle weight rating for the front is 5750lbs and the rear is 6000lbs. But the gross vehicle weight rating is 9900lbs. The front axle weighed 5200lbs and the rear 6116lbs. So I was over 116lbs on the rear GAWR. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

Yup a diesel. The gvwr will probably be basically the same, just the gas engine will weigh much less increasing how much you can haul. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Sled deck on 1/2 ton?

Weighed my 2015 dodge 2500 with a sled deck and two sleds, 200L slip tank full of fuel and the truck was full of fuel, 4 people in the truck and all the gear under the deck. Also towing a 2 place trailer with two sleds on it. The hitch weight was less than 150lbs. Weighed the axles and neither...

    3 inch vs 2.6

I have a 163x3 and I raced a 163x2.6 in heavy set up snow and it was dead even. The 3'' makes tree riding much easier, you don't need to carry as much speed and it doesn't trench as bad in the light snow. In my option the 3 and 2.6 are very similar in most conditions but the 3'' makes the...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

Hi, I am wondering if anybody has made it into Area 51 yet and if so can you ride from the log dump? Or do you need to drive up the serive road a ways? Thanks!
