Apex vs Nytro I perfere the stability of the Apex, but the Nytro is easier to throw around just a little twitchy at times. I had the choice last year to build either sled and still went with the Apex. Both sleds jump really well also, so don't be afraid to air them out they do just fine.
7000 to 8000 ft. now thats what I am talking about. You two stroke guys will have to make a relay race out of the climb, 1 at the 1/4 mark 1 at 1/2 mark and 1 at 3/4 just too make a climb that long with out the big bomb going off. lol. Just havin some fun so don't get your panties in a bunch. :)
Changing sled, now rider after the bet. Oh well it dosen't really matter, and I also think I put 20lbs. on this summer. Just so you will see that weight does not really play a factor in climbing in the deep stuff. Neil can back me up on this, you don't no what you are getting yourself into. The...
Ya but it has to be steep! No bunny hill stuff and just point and shoot no zig zagging no side hilling, no track poaching. Oh and I like My steak Medium.
Would you be willing to put a little wager on who goes higher in the deep stuff? Say steak dinner at Zala's? Oh and of course a round of beer for the winner's crew.
A little smack talk cool! Wasn't the start of this thread we are going to show the boys how it's done at Yama Fest, and not one two stroke made it over the top of the Monster. I guess the snow was too set-up for you guys to make it?lol. Let the smack talk begin!
Never said they feel the same! Not knocking the sled at all, it works really well. Some times weight savings is not all it is cracked up too be. Example- when it comes to climbing M-10 heavy, verus light weight skid. I will be taking the M-10. Come out and try them both, then you deside, I have...
The sled I rode at the big dawg was the same guy we helped up the top of Monster. The power felt really close to my Apex once it was going. It just wasn't as responsive out of the whole as the Apex. I chopped the throttle and hit it again several time and the power was right there. Over all...
Ya no problem! It was at Yama fest, Black Apex with 174, Mike and I where climbing Ermin's arm to the right of Monster. I think I even helped one of your buddies at the top of Monster pull his Cat to the top. Not sure what his name is but I also tried his sled at the Big Dawg Shootout.
Man I would love to reply too this thread but I just don't know where to start. I will leave it at this, if you see me in Revy this winter and want to try a boosted Apex then come on over and make an educated choice. Not just what someone tells you is better, lighter, faster or just a point...
