I can't speak for the M1000 but I'm running one on my 08 M8 and i love it. I was skeptical on the fabric vents in the front nose cone area because of sticks and stuff like that but they've last two seasons and about to see a third. It dropped like 8-9 pounds off the front so you cant complain...
