Im looking at purchasing a 2008 Polaris Dragon 700 this spring as I can get it for a good price. It has the following aftermarket items: 153x2.5 Power claw track, new drivers, new sliders, 2 sets of bars, 2 hoods and slp exhaust. The sled has approx. 2500 km and the seller is looking to get...
Okay perfect man! you have any suggestions for mods or things that need work? if i get left in the dust i may just invest in a 727 big bore kit as i grow out of the 600 and get used to the sled.
Hey so I am looking at purchasing this sled in a few days and have some questions.
The sled is a 2007 Polaris RMK 600 with a 155'' track, around 2500 km for $3100. Good deal? It has a few mods which ill list below:
-SLP Pipe and can
-SlP Big air kit
-Vforce reeds
-Clutched and jetted
-New gauges...
okay, I just dont want to be left in the dust. Which seems like it wont be a problem. You had mentioned earlier about upgrading the skids to with floats? Is the suspension just lacking in the rear? Or what is the purpose of the mod. once again, im kind of new to this. just trying to get some...
And the buddy I would ride with has a stock 2004 Polaris Vertical Edge 800 with 2in lugs. How would the M7 im looking at compare? Anybody who as rode or owned one of these sled care to give me some feedback?
I'm not sure if that pun was intentional but I enjoyed it. Any opinion on the 162" track? Is it too much? I will be riding mostly powder and climbing, as well as some trails.
It is a 2006 M7 with 2400 km. It costs $3500 CAN and the current owner says there is no problems besides a slight crack in the hood. I will be talking with a professional before i purchase this sled. I was just hoping for some input prior to that.
Thanks for the input so far guys. So as far as sled size and track length does this sled sound like a good investment for a new rider who wants to shred without a bunch of problems? I hear the M7`s are practically bulletproof.
I wont be buying the sled for a few weeks. Dont have the money saved yet. Are the lugs 1.75 or 2.25? I might be interested if its still available when i purchase the sled.
Also is there any other modifications I should look into? The guy is running risers, new bars, has a can, and a lighter/taller seat as well as a new hood.
Hey, so this is my first post in the forum. I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 M7 with the 162'' track. I am fairly new to sledding and pretty light (160 lbs). Would this sled be to much? Will the longer track be a problem? He is currently running an attack 20 track, though from reading other...
