Yep, always knew that but I wouldn't do that to mine. Do you even own a turbo and know how to drive one? Glad to know that your estimation of the lubrication needed is somewhat different that the engineers that tested and developed their requirements.

LOL Why would I be talking about anything other than Fred's turbo in his thread? How many times do I ask before someone explains how crankcase oiling happens with oil injection delete and when not in boost in an etec engine? IT DOESN'T.

Ack! We are talking about no oil pump. How does it lube when not on boost ; hint ........... there is no fuel or oil going into the crankcase then

    872 Big Bore E-tec

In the past resistors have been added to enrichen but the problem is IAT sensors are not linear and adding a resistor will only change the target % fuel at one temp [the resistor will have more effect at hotter iat and less at colder - not what I wanted]. Two IAT sensors in series will keep the...

Ha - not jealous at all. Glad you are happy. As far as the pistons, if you don't recognize detonation there I don't know what to tell you.

Anyone running an Aerocharger on their Pro?

What comparison on logged iat's with air to air vs water to air? Higher boost show more difference?

    Boondocker or Etec Aerocharger?

TSS because they are local and use Neils Boost-It or Boondocker because they have a tps and altitude sensitve boost controller which makes it very linear to drive. Either should be comparable for power. I have BD 860 etec and I'm very pleased with it.

    Mcx 1200

Turbos usually run out of real estate quickly on flat ground so the shorter wot time may not show problems. Looks like Neil covered it.

Well I have nothing against Fred -he is an enthusiast. I own 6 sleds of which 3 are turbos and have done almost everything Fred has but sooner. Didn't feel all the gushing over his build was warrranted and finally had to add my opinion.

lol - you his son? Tuned by Fred too- you didn't notice his broken piston caused by detonation?

Well sickest should also mean fastest. This one won't be that and I expect Fred realizes it. He missed his target weight by >50 lbs, has a tank that holds 81.5 lbs of fuel, 800 or BB later etec with 66 turbo [how much can that make], has a rear suspension that will either ride like a board or be...

Generally, the stinger in the pipe controls backpressure and a sleeve insert to increase it is more consistent than dickin with the muffler.
