Hello. Looking for a way to wire in lights on a second hood (poly carbonate) for my 2010 M8. How are other guys doing this without doing any splices into the stock chassis harness. Thanks for any info. Looked into getting a second hood harness but back ordered for a few months. Thanks for...
I grew up in Coleman riding York, The main shoot slides, the worst I have seen is about a 20 foot deep slide come off of it and cover the whole lower area into the bigger timber. The North West area slides but never seen anything huge but still big enough to be bad. As for the south side it...
Does running a couple of smaller spot lights from an automotive application on a custom hood work for a constant resistance instead of the boondocker resister, lights are about half the price. Anyone try this?
I am sure its posted on here somewhere but is there a good aftermarket bearing to replace the cats current DD one that has a longer life expectancy to it. Thanks
As for changing the bearing on the Diamond Drive, how soon do those go and how much effort and cost is it to change. As for the updated clutch spring most dealers have those for free with the new sleds?
Hello all M owners, Just wondering if there was any issues on these sleds. Looking to upgrade from my polaris and was wondering how these sleds were. Any problems with the diamond drives and clutch? Thanks for any and all info. Looking at a basic M8 153 to specify.
I picked up the 159 for my RMK and the track is great. The 156 was starting to wear out so it is hard to compare but really hooks up in the powder and on hard pack and for 419 US you cant go wrong.
Hey. If your looking for some good trail riding, the york area and the atlas area in the Crowsnest Pass is good. Seeing as you are thinking about the castle area that is also good. From down there you can access the trails from the Pass right down to castle as well as the Lost snowmobile...
Thanks for all the info. I was going to the 159 because I have a chance to buy one at a good price and according to most dealers the 156 is no longer being made and alot higher in cost. My biggest issue with the big wheel kit is cost. But I think thats the way I am going to go. Thankyou all...
I have a 2002 RMK 800 with a 156 track on it currently. I would like to go to a 159. I currently have about an 1 1/2 inches of room to still extend my track tensioners which would be the 3 inches neccessary for the track difference however I am unsure if new tracks stretch alot because at this...
I totally forgot about the pitch. I was going to go to a 159 and just move my suspension back but those tracks are also apparently rare. Might just have to drop on a 162.....seems to be an abundance of them
Hey. I have a 156 skid on my sled. Its a 2002 RMK 800 snow check and I was wondering since 156" tracks are hard to find will the 154x16 fit under my sled with the track tension loosened off. Any info would be great thanks.
I am currently reviewing sleds to find a good sled to buy and I keep bouncing back to the summit. That being said I have heard that the 07 summit has had crank issues as well as clutch issues. That being said is the 06 and 07 800 summit a good sled that will be reliable or are they the type I...
Hey I was just wondering if 2000miles was considered high mileage for an 07 M1000. It seems a bit high for me personally but I am just throwing this one out there to see what anyone else thinks
Well i am guessing PM means phone ya so whats your number lol. I have heard alot of good stuff about the M8's and thats from my buds who find anything under 200 Hp a bad sled lol ( though i know the M8 is no where close)
An M8 eh....well Linerman from the pass and tyler both mentioned that to be a better sled then the M10 for weight ratios. The M10 i am lookin at has a Jaws can, clutch work done by linderman, handle bar risers, and a screen kit put into the hood. As for the M8 how much would you be looking to...
