Hi all...Been a long time
So last year my buddy cooked the Mag side piston due to a lean condition (common on these motors)
I did a complete rebuild of the top end, pistions, rings, bore out oversize, bearings gaskets etc etc. however now the thing won't reach full revs.
Seems to have normal...
Been fighting this issue over a year and still getting no where.
Maybe someone on here has some ideas.
I've torn the carb down and cleaned it 3 times and I mean RIGHT down so I'm 100% sure I've not missed anything in terms of cleaning.
Set the float bowl properly

Motor didn't seize...

Anything I need to know about these sled...any common issues I should watch out for?
Just picked up a couple of new to me sleds....
2000 Polaris 500 Trail 666Kms
2001 Polaris 600 RMK 420kms
These things were essentially bought brand new...used slightly and then put in storage for years.
I haven't owned a sled in years so looking forward to getting out.
