I would say ask a lot of questions to whomever is replacing the rockers. I know in the case of 99-07 silverados they make an inexpensive cut and slip outer rocker patch but that does not address the inner rocker. The problem i see with these rental business’s is that they may not have the same protections established as say a commercial rental company. There is that risk of the “hi my name is John Smith” “and this is my visa number” and that trailer as well as John Smith disappears never to be seen again.

So really not much incentive on warranty then. 24 months goes away fairly quick.
