I thought there was incentives for small business and their new canadian owners income tax for a few years after landing? GST on everything for sure PST on lots but I think theres a way to skip the income tax, cpp and EI for a bit.

I agree but some different strokes… my current mortgage is 200k and the acreage we’d want is 6-700k. Although we’d have 300k equity in the primary residence…. That new mortgage is going to delay retirement by more than a year or two buddy. Then a guys gotta get all the acreage maintenance stuff…...

Same boat… we would love an acreage but I don’t think it’s in the cards if a guy wants to retire in his 50s… I’ll probably just have to pave the front lawn and start parking all my ch!t at home
