    Primary Stuck Open

Looks like pins are not needed anymore. The pair I picked up from Basecamp do not have a hole for the pin.

    Primary Stuck Open

Rollers were both busted. Ordered the pins and have a set of high torque rollers in the toolbox. I need new pivot studs too. I have wear spots on both.

    Primary Stuck Open

2nd day of riding last weekend I ran into a bit of a hole. Enough to stop me fairly hard but not enough to pop me off the sled. Pulled the sled out and fired it up. Sounded like something stuck in the track. Turned out the primary clutch was stuck fully open and would only engage at high rpms...

    Crowfoot

Rode Crowfoot Friday and Saturday. Seemed deep but no base and lots of landmines. I don't think our group has ever been stuck that many times in one day. Tired just trying to get to buddies to give them a ski pull. The poles aren't up yet so it gets kind of sketchy working your way back when the...

Appliance life span and our throwaway world

This is why it's awesome that my brother is an appliance repairman! He knows how to fix them all or let me know when it's not worth it.

    Spring cup assembly?

I definitely put the new one in since it came with the kit but I like to ask questions since this part is pretty stationary

    Spring cup assembly?

Yep. Ramps were done and one of the levers has a lot of play. Good thing I got a bunch of spare parts from the previous owner!

    Spring cup assembly?

This is the spring cup assembly I am referring to. I see no wear on this part at all.

    Spring cup assembly?

Rebuilt my primary clutch today. The kit came with the cup assembly and I’m wondering, is this a typical wear part? I didn’t notice any wear between the old and the new one. We will be rebuilding my brothers clutch next and we’re thinking we can get away with replacing buttons, o-rings, etc.

    Inflation 101

I remember a short video in high school that taught something about finances. The only part that stuck was telling us to not waste money on the lottery. I should have paid more attention to the rest. My parents were the king and queen of "if you have any money, spend it. Whether that was KFC...

    2022 Sled Show in Edmonton

Looking forward to this. It'll be nice to check stuff out in person. Get to lift some tunnels (oooh that's light) and then practice Burandt moves in the safety of a carpeted display area. Will there be a fashion show? So many questions. I've missed the awkward glances with the people working the...

    Tkachuck traded to Panthers

Huberdeau and Weegar... that's not bad at all. Still have some room for another forward though. BOA will still be good this year.

    Parking lot mechanic assessment??

I've got a friend that runs his tires in almost the same condition. Racking up lots of miles and towing a travel trailer. He's been extremely lucky. Blew an axle seal over a year ago and just fixed it... I think.
