Anyone from Fort McMurray heading down and able to make a stop for me? First one I haven't made it to in years, all I'm looking for is a stop at the Boondockers Movie booth. Grab a blu-ray and a few hats - my annual tradition. Everything else I can do without, except if I was walking around...
Were you still on the 7# spring? What were you running for fuel?
Did you play with clutching at all?
If you have access to kits, do you have access to a demo sled?
Thanks!
I like it a lot. I ran a HPS piece on my '12 and I find it quite similar - as I should've expected since the design is a long the same lines. A nice deep idle with a respectable top end sound without being over snappy or barky. I can't comment to whether or not it added power or took away RPM.
I shed more than 11lbs with Alt Impacts 36" Ti a-arm kit, full front end Ti bolt kit, Ti wear bars, and Ti front/rear torque arm with rear bolt kit. That's on top of the near 15lbs I shed with a NPP can.
I'm also in love with the Munster finger throttle!
A plug in to an aluminum head is barely over hand tight once the plug is seated. Loosen the opposite side you torqued and get a feel for what it took to break it by hand - you wouldn't be torquing it on the mountains.
Spec is 20ft/lb.
There will be a snow check in Edmonton area available from the dealer within the next few days after a family member calls to cancel delivery due to personal matters..

I'm also waiting on the HPS release - I loved it on my '12 Pro.
Also looking at BD-Extreme/SSI titanium can, possibly paired with their Ti pipe.
I read the Diamond-S titanium can has the SLP ting to it, I'd rather be a ~2lbs heavier running the better sounding HPS can.
2.6 155" out of Riverside in St. Albert! Black/Grey 163" 2.6 behind it, and also saw a blue 163" 2.6 as well with more to be built!
Simply put, this thing seems so much more hornier than the ProRide chassis!
@ Teth-Air: I'll be in your area around September long weekend, looking for two oil...
You can pull in to a staging area with 25+ trucks and how many more guys who are all wondering the same thing, but getting up in to the alpine and not hear a single one as you take it all in. No tracks but yours and a buddy's(ies) - that's worth it to me. Need I mention blue birds??

Sorry, but in my opinion I think you should shift this up a bit. You're looking at making a career change - the salary for a work term should be irrelevant. The knowledge and field experience are what is going to be behind you at the end of it. The SAIT and NAIT programs are superior as far...
Alpine had a 720 Mitsubishi belt for me last year. They didn't know what it was for or why they had it, I don't know if they carry them or I got super lucky!
Two of us showed up at Allen this morning with $50 in hand ready to pay even though we knew they weren't grooming. No one was there to take the money and hand out passes, kind of disappointing to be honest. That trail is going to need some serious TLC once conditions warrant and I think...
