What are you guys doing in regards to clutching your 1000's for larger tires? Just looking to see what your set-ups are (clutch/tire size/ type of riding) I been doing a lot of research and seen that people are either going QSC primary and 650 helix on the secondary (unsure about springs with...
Hey S&M, I may not be new to the site but its been a few years since I've last been posting. I figured I'd drop a quick howdy and see who's all here now new and old. Maybe some of you guys still remember me :p.
Hey guys, its been a couple million years since I was on the boards last, hopefully y'all still remember me!
Anyways, I'm looking to ditch the soot cooker and the EGR in my 2012 6.7L Cummins and I wanna see where all you guys took your trucks to get it done and where has the best price...
Figured I should start some schinannigans on here... I was thinking of going to caster land and picking up a ton of 2-1/2" casters and bolting them to my skid plate to help me glide over stuff. Sick redneck skid plate I figure... I'll even decorate my snorkel stacks wit 'em... Who wants to help...
Its been a while since I was last logged on, nor have I had enough time to skim for any blasphemy on the boards.... Time to open a can of worms. Enjoy! ;)
Sold the Banshee a few months ago, and came across a YFZ... I had one before and my buddy ended up with two so I took the burden (2005, rather goobered up and jimmy rigged from the previous owner) and began another MX build. I posted a few pics of my '07 on this site before, so if you've seen...
Now that I got myself in a position to get a sled I'm a little more serious into buying one. I just got everything set up and paid for (ins, new tires etc... ) for my truck and all my savings are well, getting saved for a sled. If I decide to go new then I'm stuck between 'Doo and Arctic Cat...
Anyone have this happen to your brute? Oil in the airbox coming from crank vent? Can't believe this is happening for the 2nd time. First noticed it was blowing blue today, and scared me thinking this was another big problem, but realized it was in the airbox coming from the vent. Mopped it up...
Gonna plunk down some cash on a lovely set of tires and rims tomorrow after work, And possibly even a lift and spacers. (and Clutch springs too) but before I do, I'm looking at the 27" silverback so I can be nice to my axles. Based on your experience would wheel spacers make the quad better in...
Got a good paying job, gonna expand my horizons again and get a sled for this winter. I used to have a 2001 summit 800 144 three years ago, and haven't really kept up to date on sleds. So, based on your experiences, what's a good sled to go for? I'll mostly be riding mountains and longer tracks...
Check out the new WildCat 1000i. Looks like it might kick some RZR XP butt. Not much of a fan of the looks though, might have to give it some time to grow.

Saw the thread about Farmer Talk, and theres quite a few farmers. What about the people who work at 'Site'? I know theres a ton of us who work there too, even if its just mod yards in Nisku or all the way in GP or Ft. Mac.
Anyways, lets hear your stories and the latest on site. I'm just...
The tail light burned out in my Brute 750, and based upon trail and error, I'm almost 90% sure the bulb doesn't screw out. So, how do I get this little bugger out? (Its not toooooooo important seeing as how the quad runs just fine without it  ) but just something I'd like to fix sooner...
This might play a big part in the bets about my Brute. But heres the pics of how I snorkeled my '09 Kaw 750.
It all started out at Lowes with this much PVC... Then you can see a nifty idea that came about with a termination screen, then a few more parts and it going together. You can figure out...
Are they still in effect around the central Alberta area.....
Hah, just pulling your legs... Especially with all these highly combustable thunder storms.. :thumb:
Any S&M'ers looking to go for a ride this weekend? I'm planning a trip to Trapper Lea's camp ground this weekend for anyone who wants to go. I'm thinking around Friday to Monday, somewhere in that time-zone. Its a great quading spot if anybody likes mud! I've been there a few times and looking...
