well not 100% sure but i recently was about to buy a 2001 800 (ski doo) motor with out reverse and i thought i could put the RER parts out of it into this one, like the stator parts and stuff.....but the mechanic who was going to tear down the motor looked and said their is no way as the place...

that is kind of what i thought...my friend terry said that with out that sensor it messes it up...thats why i would put it there like you said!!

so was wondering about that sensor that is plugged into the stock airbox, and what you would do with it if i out on pod filters, also do you have to re-jet even with the dpm?? thanks, Deaner
