    Costco Batteries

Have been using Costco (Kirkland Signature) batteries for 12 years now without ever having any of the previous issues I've had before. Shorted plates, not holding charge etc. It's the only battery I have never had any warranty issue with, and has long out-lived anything else I have tried.

    Lets see your tow vehicles!!!!!!!

WOW! I know I haven't been on here in some time, but WTF? What's with the pissing matches going on? This is a forum for discussion and sharing I thought? Is it not possible to agree to disagree? The brand battles will always be there just as they have been since the second automobile was built...

    amazon light bars

I did my research and decided on the cheaper ones on Amazon. They all claim ratings of IP67, IP68, or IP69, the differences being dust and moisture penetration. With IP67 you can wash it, but don't hit it directly with a pressure washer or the water will get in. Supposedly the IP69 you can blast...

Best way to lose a atv

I always get sick seeing people tie down their toys with cheap straps. Even when the packaging says a 1300 lb working load limit and you have an 800 lb toy, that strap rated at 1300 lbs, and even with 4 of them is woe-fully inadequate. Sure it will hold it in place in a static state, but put in...

    Outwest campground 2016

Howdy, we tried Outwest Campground last year for the first time after several friends had mentioned it, and we loved it. You say you're going in August? We're going too, 26th to the 1st along with another couple. We found that place to be one of the friendliest places to camp and meet people...

ATV Friendly Group Camping in BC

Have a look at Tulameen, BC. If family is from Okanogan they may be aware of the area. Trans Canada trail follows the old CP rail line from Oliver through Princeton, Coalmont, Tulameen, Blakeburn, Kingsvale and on to Spences Bridge. In the Tulameen area, hundreds of miles of old logging roads...

Are more sledders becoming idiots or are more idiots becoming sledders?

When there's not enough brain cells to line the inside of a Cheerio, it's hard to fix stupid! Keep to the high ground.

    Neil Young Tour

Would have jumped at the chance to see him, that was until his carbon footprint overshadowed his ego and blocked all the stage lights. I don't mind people protesting the oil sands as long as they do it fully informed. To create a tour of protest as uninformed as he is only makes me want to add...

    Dodge dealer in Edmonton area?

Have bought many from Great West Chrysler, have tried many other Dodge dealerships for service. Sherwood Park Dodge is the closest for me and I will never return there. Ripped off on a couple occasions, last time being a new rack & pinion on wife's '06 minivan at 5.5 years old and only 48k on...

Toy hauler or tandem tow with 5th wheel???

There has been lots of increased chatter within Alberta about getting away from tandem towing in the last year. Becoming more like neighboring provinces by banning it. RESEARCH.

    Tank truck railings

Any and all modifications done to tank trucks will require sign off by a professional engineer in order to meet the requirements of TDG, as well it also will cancel any current VIPK certifications on the unit thereby requiring retesting. Any shop willing to do this kind of work needs to put...

    Building slip tank

Research your idea carefully, any slip tanks used to transport dangerous goods (ie fuel) fall under many different regulations that may come into play depending on size. TDG, CSA, ASME are a few. Always run with a filter, preferably one that will also separate water, as condensation will always...

    Alberta out of province inspections

Clear lenses are okay as long as the bulbs are orange, as for block heaters, that is an optional piece of equipment that isn't related to a "safety inspection". Anyone who tries to say it's mandatory is out of it. However if the vehicle is equipped with one and the cord is in poor state, (frayed...

    Club memberships

Ouch, was that your outside voice? As a member of TCSC, I would love to be even more involved in a sport I love. My constraints of work and home have me on a tight leash, yet I can still squeeze in time to help out in some areas. You'll never know what you can do till you try! Get off the...

valemount cops bored again so lets pick on some sledders again

Have been scanning through all the posts on this subject, and would like to comment on a couple things. As a former BC'er, I was travelling back to the Okanogan for a family get together on Feb 25th. When approaching the scale before the Hwy16/5 intersection north of Valemount, I noticed an RCMP...

For aluminum, I find Autosol the best. A little dab, soft cloth and rub till black! Warm water wash and mirror finish. Shine lasts a long time.
