Please let us not forget these were people who have probably made this hill lots of time before. Everyone one needs to remember that no matter how many time we have done a trip before we need to look into conditions EVER TIME we go out. What was once a good trip could be tragedy the next...

My heart is heavy with the news of the tragic events this last weekend. I haven't prayed in years but will say one tonite.

Need more snow. The pass was not really ready to go, some were up I think but there was some big hole on big hills. One more good dump would help alot.

Going to head out on Sunday. We should get more snow this Friday and in SW Calgary we have about 6" so lutz all pray for some :snow: PS was out in Bragg creek on Sunday, about 6" - 8" in the loading areas but over a foot once you start climbing up hill.

Hey all I was thinking of heading out this Sunday or Monday, forecast is for snow a few nites here in Calgary so here's to hoping. If anyone gets out there this weekend please post.

Was out there last weekend (Sunday)and there was about 10 - 12 inches up in the hills. No one has been up the pass yet. Had to go back out on Monday and there was about 1 1/2 feet at the road closure. It has been snowing all week there. I will be in there Saturday and will post again.Hey...
